The Timing of the Annunciation of the Conception of Jesus

In Luke 1:26, the New Testament is crystal clear on the exact month when Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she was chosen to carry a special Being from from the abode of God. It was on the sixth month of the Jewish Calendar, a month which is not the same in the Julian, later Gregorian Calendar in which this writing is based. The ATS Bible Dictionary helps us place the Hebrew sixth month in our Julian Calendar. Based upon the standard nine month [gestation] for birth, we can accurately calculate the month of birth of Jesus, which is the tenth month after the nine months long pregnancy. Jesus could not have been born prematurely. I stand behind that statement not because I was there, but based on the requirement of a perfect lamb for the sacrifice. If the Julian was the same as the Hebrew Calendar, and Jesus was conceived in the sixth month, He would have been delivered,in keeping with the annunciation month, on the sixteenth (or fourth) month )April) of the pregnancy. The sixteenth month of delivery would have been April not December. But, the time mentioned in the New Testament is Jewish Calendar. The religious Jewish calendar did not depart from the custom of beginning the year in Spring or the month of Abib or Nisan. As the ATS Bible Dictionary defines it, end of March towards April, matches the beginning of the Jewish Calendar in the Julian Calendar. Thus, the first month of the annunciation falls on end of March towards the beginning of April in our Julian, Gregorian Calendar. Thus, the sixth month in the New Testament falls on end of September towards October in the Julian Calendar which was in use at the time of conception. After a nine months long pregnancy from end of September towards beginning of October, Jesus was born in end of June towards beginning of July. So, arithmetically, we look for a birth of Jesus in late June or early July, a summer timeline which is very far from December. What if a month was added to the Jewish religious calendar year when Jesus was conceived? Still, December is very the unlikely month of birth of Jesus because the Julian does not follow such practice of month intercalation. Therefore, it is impossible that Jesus was born in December. John the Baptist was born sixth month before end of June towards beginning of July. Christmas is more likely to celebrate the birth of John the Baptist. If you are a believer and you absolutely love Christmas time, would you still keep Christmas as a celebration of the birth of Jesus or would you dismiss the arithmetical or mathematical timing of His birth that proves that Christmas has no biblical basis? Does knowledge of the word of YHWH God (Jesus) matter? Knowledge of the will of God did not matter for Eve because she recited verbatim the command of God but ate the forbidden fruit anyway. Moreover, it had been prophesied that today we will yearn after religious fables while we dismiss the sound doctrines of Moses. THE ANNUNCIATION OF THE BIRTH OF JESUS We read that Angel Gabriel told Mary that she was going to conceive and bear a holy Son (Luke 1:35) who was to be named Jesus (Luke 1:31). However, when Angel of YHWH|the LORD came to announce the birth of the holy Son, Angel of YHWH|the LORD did not tell the shepherds that Jesus was born. Rather, as we read in Luke 2:11, Angel of YHWH|the LORD announced to them the birth of YHWH in Hebrew OR the LORD in English. Who was born under the name Jesus? To answer the question just translate the name back into Hebrew.

(31) And behold! You will conceive in your womb and bear a Son, and you will call His name Jesus. (32) This One will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. (33) And He will reign over the house of Jacob to the ages, and of His kingdom there will be no end. (34) But Mary said to the angel, How will this be since I do not know a man? (35) And answering, the angel said to her, The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you, and for this reason that Holy One being born of you will be called Son of God. (36) And behold, your kinswoman Elizabeth! She also conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month to her who was called barren;

If we care for our salvation and we know about the fact that we are living in the time when it was prophesied that we will lust for false doctrines, how more vigilant we ought to be, praying without ceasing for the granting of the Holy Spirit to keep convincing us for the truth?
